The role involves leading technical projects in the solar energy industry, including project scope development, ensuring technical feasibility, and overseeing on-time and within-budget deliveries. Effective communication with stakeholders, regular status reporting, and leading a diverse project team are key responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of solar energy project management experience, and knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and photovoltaic technology. Preferred qualifications include PMP or Prince-II certification, ERP project management experience, familiarity with RACI matrix structures, and proficiency in English.
The role involves conducting complex dynamic and kinetic gas and chemical simulations, defining boundary conditions and aligning calculations with process development goals. Collaborate with experimental teams to enhance simulation models based on real data and provide recommendations based on simulation results. Interpret production line experiment results to validate simulations. Work closely with fellow simulation engineers and team leaders to ensure alignment with project objectives. Requirements include a PhD or Master of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, over 5 years of simulation engineering experience, proficiency in ComSol software, and fluency in English. Experience in silane chemistry is advantageous.
Washington DC / San Francisco, CA / New York, NY Corporate Affairs – Corporate Affairs /Full-Time/ On-Site
This position will report to the Senior Director of Market Strategy and Industry Affairs and be a key employee of the company’s Corporate Affairs team based in Washington, DC.
The employee will direct the organization’s market intelligence work to provide key strategy and analysis across the company’s North American business, inform executives of market threats, and provide a viewpoint on market, competitor, and technology development. They will also perform analysis of policy issues in support of the company’s government relations team.

The Corporate Communications and External Relations Manager will help manage relationships with key external stakeholders that are positioned to influence First Solar’s environment and shape its reputation. The Manager would help safeguard and build First Solar’s reputation by engaging with stakeholders including the press, think tanks and NGOs, industry analysts, and others.
